Review by hotel critic
Review of Catalina ResortDuring my recent stay at Catalina Resort, I experienced a commendable balance of luxury and value. The apartment was well-equipped with modern amenities including a washing machine, dryer, and a well-stocked kitchen with cookware and utensils, which made our stay more convenient and comfortable. The outdoor heated swimming pool was a highlight, allowing my family to enjoy leisure time irrespective of the chill in the evening air. We appreciated the two bathrooms, making it easy for a group of four to navigate morning routines without a hassle. The location proved to be another strong point – a mere two-minute walk to the stunning Maroochydore beach and proximity to local shops including a bakery and butcher. We indulged in the delightful Thai restaurant next door, and a short stroll led us to delectable fish and chips at Cottontree. While the resort does exude elements of luxury, its value proposition is underlined by the range of amenities and proximity to necessities, making it a wise choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a taste of comfort along the coast.
